About
SECOND EDITION
After a standout first edition, Abrupt returns to Brussels this October, sharper, more focused, and more connected to the tensions shaping sound and culture than ever.
From 8 to 12 October, Abrupt unfolds across a series of distinctive venues in Brussels. The festival presents a curated selection of live performances, club nights, talks, and gatherings, each one tuned to the shifting frequencies of a hyperdiverse musical landscape. Abrupt is international & broad by nature, but selective by design. Rather than trying to showcase everything, each edition draws a distinct map, tracing sonic and cultural fault lines, spotlighting movements in motion, and giving space to artists who’ve either shaped or shaken their fields.
